Welcome to House of Fixes

  You’ve made the right choice by selecting House of Fixes as your cleaning service provider. Our terms are designed to be clear and straightforward, ensuring that you always benefit from our services without any complications.

1. Agreement on Price and Frequency

  Before we begin our services, we will agree on a specific price and cleaning frequency. This agreement will be based on a detailed proposal provided after an onsite visit to your premises. The service will be conducted at the address quoted, and the agreed price and frequency will be clearly stated in the contract.

2. Invoicing and Payment Terms

  Invoices are generated and sent on the 20th of every month. Payments are due within seven days from the date the invoice is issued. Payments should be made to House of Fixes. You can send your cheque to our office or choose to pay via Visa or Mastercard, which will incur a 3% surcharge. Alternatively, a payment link for Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT) will be sent to the designated email address.

3. GST

   All prices are exclusive of GST, unless otherwise specified.

4. Cleaning Chemicals and Materials

  House of Fixes will supply all necessary cleaning chemicals and materials. If you have specific requirements for special or hypoallergenic chemicals, please inform us before the first cleaning session. An additional fee may apply if special products are requested by the customer.

5. Access to Property

  The customer must provide House of Fixes with access to the property, including all areas that are scheduled to be cleaned as outlined in the scope of service, at the agreed time.

6. Non-Solicitation of Cleaners

  House of Fixes invests significant resources in training our cleaners. The customer agrees not to engage directly or indirectly with any House of Fixes cleaners to provide cleaning services independently for a period of 12 months after the conclusion of this contract. Such actions will be considered a breach of contract.

7. Cancellation and Call-Out Fees

  If you need to cancel or reschedule a cleaning service, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice. A "Call-Out Fee" will be charged if our cleaner arrives at the premises but is unable to clean due to reasons beyond our control. The "Call-Out Fee" will be 60% of the agreed per visit price.

8. Termination of Agreement

  Either party may terminate this agreement at any time by providing written notice at least 30 days prior to the intended termination date.

9. Non-Assignment

  The rights and obligations under this agreement are personal to the customer and may not be assigned to any other party.

10. Entire Agreement

  This contract constitutes the entire agreement between the parties concerning the cleaning services provided. It supersedes any prior oral or written agreements between the parties.
